Mars- The Warrior Rules Aries
He’s number 1! No really, he loves to be first at everything, whether it’s winning a competition or the first to try something new, he’s always got his game face on. Mars has some fierce and aggressive energy and can be the ultimate motivator. His energy gives you the passion, stamina and drive to complete the most difficult tasks. However, when the going gets tough and he doesn’t think before he acts, he can be a little reckless and impulsive.
Venus- The Lover RULES Taurus & Libra
She beauty, she’s brains, she’s balance, she’s Venus! Affectionately referred to as “Vee” by the Mob, she’s the go-to when anyone has a problem because she’s not only a good listener, she’s a born diplomat, it’s fairness over everything for her- along with some cool new shoes. She’s the queen of aesthetic and good vibes, her energy will dictate your style and what you find comfort and value in. The only problem is the “treat-your-self” mentality, she can get a little carried away and sometimes forgets to hide the credit card when she’s having a bad day.
Moon- The Mom RULES CANCER
When you’re having a day, cue Mariah Carey and thank (or blame) Moon for those EMOTIONS! She’s the one responsible for having you all in your feels. But, because she’s the “mom” and the ultimate caretaker, she helps you figure out what you need to feel safe and secure. Her energy is responsible for the way you react or respond to problems, she’s also responsible for those creative and intuitive gifts. Beware though, she can be easily triggered and it can make her a little grouchy or overly emotional. So. Many. Tissues.
SUN- The Life of the party RULES LEO
Put your shades on, because this fella shines BRIGHT, so does the spotlight he always wants to be under. That’s because “Sunny” is all about our individuality, our personalities, and how we express ourselves. He gives you that excitable energy and wants you to recognize what lights you up and makes you shine. Just be cautious, because a little too much of this energy will having you trying to steal the spotlight when it’s not your show.
MERcury- The Messenger RULES VIRGO & GEMINI
HOT OFF THE PRESS! Mercury has the 411 and she’s going to tell you about it, even when you didn’t ask to hear it- which she’s working on. There’s a bit of duality to Mercury because she rules both Virgo and Gemini, so her energy will determine whether you’re more analytical or if you’ve got the gift of gab. She strongly influences the way you think, communicate, and spread information. Her perfectionism and overthinking can turn her into a little ball of anxiety, but we just give her something to clean or organize and it helps clear her mind.
PLUTO- The Transformer RULES SCORPIO
This guy’s got a sixth sense of knowing what needs to change in your life and he’ll send you some signs in hopes that you’ll make a move. If you don’t, well, don’t say I didn’t warn you. His energy can feel a lot like someone pulling the rug out from under you so fast that you fall and bump your head. Ouch! He’s responsible for some of the most intense lessons you need to learn, they’re often about your fears. But don’t fret, his energy helps you rebuild because the goal is to get you standing on a solid foundation. Just maybe don’t make him the project manager, I just spoke to him about his obsessive and controlling behavior. Even the planets aren’t perfect!
Jupiter- The lucky charm RULES Sagittarius
Whatever comes easily and naturally to you- thank Jupiter because he’s given you a gift of luck or ease in that particular area. He can be kind of hard to pin down, he’s always wandering about, and you may notice that energy in yourself. He is all about expansion, whether that means physically travelling to expand your world view or reading books to expand your mind, the goal is to keep learning and gaining more knowledge. Just remember to pause before you make big decisions, Mr. Jupiter can make us a little overconfident and overindulgent. Are you sure you want to take ALL of your money out of your piggy bank?
saturn- The Dad Rules Capricorn
He’s a strict rule follower, he’s got wisdom for days and he loves coffee! To him, discipline equals success, and while he wants you to have fun, you have to get all of your work done first. That’s the rule! He wants you to succeed in anything you put your mind to, so don’t throw in the towel when you know it’s going to take hard work and structure to help you hit your goal. Saturn wants you to succeed and he’ll reward you along the way, but you’ve got to hustle. Just remember curb that perfectionism, we can all go a little overboard with Saturn’s energy, just keep your eye on the prize. He has been known to dish out A’s for effort.
Uranus- The Innovator Rules aquarius
There’s nothing this guy loves more than the shock of a surprise! The thing is, he doesn’t really know the difference between a good surprise and a bad surprise. So, if he hands you a ticket, look twice because it could either be a lottery ticket or a speeding ticket. His electric energy will keep you on your toes because he’s going to make sure you keep moving forward. He’s also going to pull out your eccentricities because he wants you to find and express your individuality. If you start to feel your intuition nudging you to make a big change, that’s Uri’s innovative and progressive energy, and it’s best to go with the flow instead of trying to fight it.
neptune- The Dreamer Rules Pisces
Now you see him, now you don’t! He’s the master of illusion (and delusion) and you can either find him in fantasy land or hiding behind the smoke of the sage he just lit. He’s very spiritual. Either way, he’s got compassion for days, and I can bet he’s given you some of that energy too. He knows it’s hard to figure out life and he wants you to go easy on yourself. If you feel a strong desire to chase your dreams, thank ‘Tune, just make sure you’re using lots of logic in your decision making as well as developing some strong boundaries that will protect you along the way. Don’t be afraid to use your imagination either, you’ve got a good one!

One night I made a wish to be anyone other than me. Before I knew it, the planets were in my room showing me how to use Astrology as a tool for self-discovery, and it worked!
